Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ccf.foundation (the “Site”) operated by CCF Foundation Corp. (also doing business as the Christian Carstens Flosi Foundation), an Arizona nonprofit corporation and federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN 84-4153124) (“CCF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site, creating an account, or making a donation, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service we provide

The Site is a charitable-giving and volunteer-coordination platform. Visitors can learn about CCF’s programs, make tax-deductible donations to specific campaigns, view donation receipts, and (where applicable) sign up for volunteer events. The Site is provided as a public benefit; no purchase of goods or services occurs through the Site beyond charitable contributions.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using an email address (with magic-link or password sign-in) or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account; donors who appear to be minors may be asked to confirm parental consent.

If you donated through our previous WordPress site, your historical donation records were migrated to your new account on or about May 22, 2026. Your WordPress password was not migrated; the first sign-in requires a magic link to your email or a password reset.

3. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed by Stripe, Inc. CCF does not see, store, or process your credit-card details. All donations are designated to a specific campaign and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. An IRS-compliant receipt is emailed automatically after a successful donation. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Payment-method-related terms are described in our Payment Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • make fraudulent donations or use stolen payment methods;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data;
  • scrape donor information, enumerate accounts, or otherwise circumvent protections such as rate limiting;
  • upload, transmit, or include in donor comments any content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization; or
  • interfere with the Site’s operation by automated means.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also refuse, cancel, or refund donations that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, made in error, or otherwise contrary to law.

5. Donor comments and content you submit

When you optionally include a note with a donation, register for a volunteer event, or otherwise submit content, you grant CCF a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and use that content for the purpose of operating the Site and administering our programs. We do not display donor comments publicly without explicit consent; donations marked anonymous are displayed only as “Anonymous” in any public-facing context.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, and Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. If you sign in with Google, Google’s authentication service is used to verify your identity; we receive only your name, email, and (optionally) a profile picture from Google, and we use that information solely to identify your account.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, its branding, and its content (other than user-submitted content and third-party trademarks) are owned by CCF Foundation Corp. and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission. Government documents linked on our nonprofit page are public records and may be redistributed.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CCF disclaims all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site is free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCF and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. CCF’s aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the total donations you have made through the Site in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100. These limitations apply even if CCF has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CCF and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or to your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site and, where reasonably possible, by email to account holders. Your continued use of the Site after the “Last updated” date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Contact

Questions, concerns, or notices regarding these Terms should be sent through our contact form or by mail addressed to CCF Foundation Corp., Arizona.

These Terms are a working baseline drafted for a small, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) donation site. They will be reviewed by counsel before any material change to CCF’s programs or services. Questions? Reach us via the contact form.
